Sushi Splurger Inputs not working

When I add a Splurger I can only drag one sushi input to the left side. If I try to add another sushi input source then the line that I am attempting to connect just disappears.

This occurs when I am attempting to connect input lines containing different resources. If the input lines are all of the same resource then it works per normal.

How do I get around this?
