Water Loop in Battery Factory

When setting up a basic Battery Factory it is natural to loop the excess water back to an earlier stage of the production line.

The second I loop the water back all the output gets set to 0.

I set up an aluminium Factory which also looped water back, but this worked fine.

Seems like a bug?
